On Saturday, 5th May 2007, CEDAR Audio's Managing Director, Gordon Reid, will co-present an audio forensic workshop at the 122th AES Convention. Entitled "The Practice of Audio Forensics", the workshop will examine the common challenges facing an audio forensic professional. Topics will include voice identification, analogue and digital media authenticity, audio enhancement, adaptive filtering, and running an audio forensic business.
The three hour workshop will include Q & A during and after each 30-minute presentation. Audio and visual examples will be shown where appropriate. Software will be demonstrated in real-time and input as well as questions from attendees will be encouraged. All of the presenters are considered to be experts in the field of audio forensics and related fields.
