CEDAR Audio Ltd, in partnership with CEDAR Audio USA, will be showing the new CEDAR Cambridge 'Q' and V3 software for the first time in the USA at the 121st AES Convention.
Exhibiting on stand #1236, the company will show the new system alongside its standalone restoration modules, the Duo DDC Declickle and Duo DDH Auto Dehiss, the DNS2000 and, of course, the Academy Award® winning DNS1000 dialogue noise suppressor. There will also be a Pro Tools 7.2 system demonstrating the latest CEDAR Tools™ suite, including declick, decrackle, dethump, auto dehiss, declip and the remarkable Retouch™.
CEDAR will be represented on two further stands, with a wide range of processes shown on the SADiE range of system (stand #1709) and the Pyramix systems from Merging Technologies (stand #1233).
Gordon Reid, President of CEDAR Audio Ltd, will be attending as a member of the AES Technical Committee on Archiving, Restoration and Digital Libraries, and on the AES Technical Committee on Audio Forensics. The committee meetings will be held at 10am on Thursday 5th October, and at 9:30am on Friday 6th October, respectively. Mr Reid will also be presenting a paper in the Tutorial on Audio Forensics (T19) on Sunday, October 8, at 9:00am.
