CEDAR Audio is delighted to have been shortlisted for a British Engineering Excellence Award in the Small Company Of The Year category.

The Awards aim to demonstrate and promote the quality of engineering design within the UK; to emphasise innovation and effectiveness in order to allow smaller companies to compete on an equal footing with larger ones; to act as an incentive to the design engineering industry to create world-class businesses; to provide a benchmark of excellence from which the industry can learn and from which it can build; and to demonstrate the power of engineering design innovation within the UK to the world.

The panel of judges has been drawn from a cross-section of electronic and engineering design disciplines. The Chairman is Harry Tee CBE, the chairman of the Electronics Leadership Council, who was appointed by the Secretary of State for Industry in 2005 to form the Council and lead its work. The Director is Richard Noble OBE, famous for the Thrust2 programme, which brought the World Land Speed Record back to Britain in 1983, and the Thrust SSC supersonic land speed record programme.
