CEDAR announces the Forensic Audio Starter System and support package

CEDAR Forensic Audio Starter System

1 November 2010

Configured by a forensic audio specialist with more than 25 years' experience in the field, the forensic audio starter system includes NR-4™, our world-class broadband noise reduction system, together with our precision EQ, our 0.2Hz resolution spectrum analyser, a high-quality limiter, and the full range of our core tools, all benefitting from our on-going free update policy. All of this is powered by the latest CEDAR Cambridge Series III system; a powerful eight-core server-grade PC offering 64-bit processing and almost 10,000 hours of audio storage, all pre-configured in a 4U rackmount host. This is supplied complete with multi-channel I/O, a large LCD monitor (UK only), and all the software and drivers installed and tested before delivery.

Every forensic audio starter system is backed up by our free telephone hotline support plus a free day's training for up to four people (usual price £750) in our state-of-the-art training facility in Cambridge. Just book a day that's convenient for you, and we'll take care of the rest.

Purchasing options

Each forensic audio starter system is supplied with two months' free use of every existing CEDAR Cambridge processing module. These are not cut-down versions with limited options or which prevent you from saving your work; they are the real thing. Then, at the end of that period, you can contact us to purchase any that you would like to continue using. When capital is tight, it's useful to be able to spread the cost so, in the UK, we also offer an attractive three-year lease purchase deal for the forensic audio starter system.

The forensic audio starter system is now available worldwide. Please contact your local CEDAR office or CEDAR dealer for further details.
