THE NETHERLANDS: The CEDAR DNS 2 is a finalist in the audio category of the IABM Design & Innovation Awards 2016. These awards are presented at the IBC exhibition in Amsterdam each year and recognise exciting new products, services and projects that offer significant solutions or new opportunities within the broadcast supply industry. They are highly prized because of the independence and expertise of the judging panel, and allow innovative companies to obtain industry-wide recognition for their achievements.
John Ive, IABM Director of Technology and Strategic Insight and Chair of Judging Panel says of them, "Such is the quality of the entries that achieving the shortlist is in itself a major accomplishment for any company, and the recognition and publicity that goes with achieving the shortlist reflects this". Gordon Reid, Managing Director of CEDAR Audio added, "There are only three shortlisted nominations in each category, so we are honoured that the DNS 2 is a finalist this year."
The finalists and the category winners will be announced at the awards ceremony held from 6pm in the Emerald Lounge at the RAI on Saturday 10 September 2016.
