London based Trojan Recordings Ltd has purchased a CEDAR BRX+ debuzzer to add to the complete range of Series X rackmount units it purchased in 1998. The BRX+ will therefore be joining a DCX declicker, CRX decrackler and DHX dehisser at the company's studios in Walthamstow, London.

Frank Lea is Managing Director of Trojan. He says of CEDAR, "We are delighted with our original three CEDAR Series X units. However, some of our material suffers from buzz and hum problems. The new BRX+ removes these and the results are very clean with no dulling of sound at any point. We are currently using the BRX+ to clean up recordings by Motorhead, The Fall, and Bad Manners. The results are amazing, and the module removes buzz and hum from material that would have otherwise been unusable. CEDAR's products are perfect for our restoration requirements."

The Series X+ range was launched in March 1999, and also includes the AZX+ azimuth corrector.
